1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Adonai Bible Studies website:

They also govern the purchase and personal use of digital products offered by Adonai Bible Studies and processed through Hotmart.

By accessing this website, purchasing a product, or downloading purchased materials, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Disclaimer, and any applicable terms presented by Hotmart during checkout.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or purchase the product.

2. Website and Product Operator

Adonai Bible Studies is operated from Japan by Maria Rosilene Barros Kawai, publicly identified on this website and in the published materials as the author Maria Barros.

The creator’s registered legal name may appear in the Hotmart checkout, payment confirmation, transaction records, or customer support communications.

Both materials are delivered electronically in PDF format. No printed or physical product will be shipped.

The eBook is organized as a seven-day biblical journey, with one reflection theme for each day. This seven-day structure is a suggested reading path. It is not a deadline, treatment program, or promise that any specific personal, emotional, spiritual, or physical result will occur within seven days.

Readers may complete the eBook at their own pace and revisit its content whenever desired, subject to the personal-use license described in these Terms.

The companion journal, 30 Days with God: A Reflection and Restoration Journal, has a separate 30-day reflection structure designed to support continued prayer, writing, and personal reflection.

The eBook’s seven-day reading structure, the journal’s 30-day reflection structure, and Hotmart’s seven-day refund guarantee are separate matters. The reading structures describe how the materials are organized, while the refund guarantee determines the period available for submitting a refund request.

4. Eligibility to Purchase

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement.

If you are under the legal age of majority in your country, the purchase must be made or expressly authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that the information provided during checkout is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

5. Prices, Currency, and Taxes

The applicable product price will be displayed on the sales page and confirmed in the Hotmart checkout before payment.

The current offer is presented in United States dollars. Depending on the buyer’s location, Hotmart may display or process the transaction in another available currency.

Currency conversion rates, payment fees, and applicable taxes may affect the final amount charged. Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be shown by Hotmart during checkout before the purchase is completed.

Prices, bonuses, and promotional offers may be changed for future purchases. Any change will not affect a purchase that has already been completed and confirmed.

The current eBook offer is a one-time purchase and is not a recurring subscription.

6. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Hotmart and its authorized payment providers.

Adonai Bible Studies does not directly collect or store complete payment card or banking information.

The payment methods available may vary depending on the buyer’s country, currency, and Hotmart’s payment options.

A purchase is considered complete only after payment has been approved and confirmed by Hotmart.

7. Digital Delivery and Access

After payment confirmation, the buyer will receive access instructions through the email address provided during checkout and through the applicable Hotmart purchase area.

The buyer is responsible for:

• Providing a valid and accurate email address;

• Checking the inbox, spam, and promotions folders;

• Maintaining access to the email account used for the purchase;

• Using a compatible device and PDF-reading application;

• Maintaining a suitable internet connection for downloading the files.

Access may not be immediate when a payment requires additional verification or processing by the bank, payment provider, or Hotmart.

8. Seven-Day Guarantee and Refund Requests

The digital product is sold with a guarantee of exactly seven calendar days.

The seven-day guarantee period begins on the date and time the buyer’s payment is approved and confirmed by Hotmart, as shown in the buyer’s Hotmart purchase record.

To use the guarantee, the buyer must submit the refund request no later than the end of the seventh calendar day following payment confirmation.

Refund requests must be submitted through Hotmart’s official refund form, the buyer’s Hotmart purchase area, or the Hotmart Help Center.

The seven-day guarantee does not become a 15-day, 21-day, or 30-day guarantee. The applicable guarantee period for this product is seven calendar days only.

Submitting a refund request within the seven-day period does not mean that the refund will appear immediately in the buyer’s bank or card account. Hotmart and the applicable payment provider are responsible for processing the request and returning the payment according to the payment method used.

Refund requests and payment processing are subject to Hotmart’s official purchasing procedures, its General Purchasing Terms, and applicable consumer protection laws.

When a refund is approved:

• The payment will be returned through the applicable payment method;

• Access to the eBook and bonus journal may be canceled;

• The buyer must stop using the materials;

• The buyer must not distribute, share, reproduce, or continue using copies of the refunded product.

The seven-day guarantee period is independent of the time the buyer chooses to spend reading the eBook. Reading the eBook at a slower or faster pace does not extend or shorten the seven-day refund period.

Requests submitted after the seven-day period are not covered by this guarantee, except when a longer mandatory right is required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Personal-Use License

After a completed and non-refunded purchase, the buyer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the eBook and bonus materials for personal and non-commercial purposes.

The buyer may:

• Download the purchased files to personal devices;

• Read the materials on compatible devices;

• Keep a personal backup copy;

• Print reasonable copies for the buyer’s own personal use;

• Bind a personally printed copy;

• Write, type, or make personal annotations in the journal;

• Use brief quotations in reviews or commentary when permitted by law and accompanied by appropriate attribution.

The purchase grants a license to use the content. It does not transfer ownership of the copyright or intellectual property.

10. Prohibited Uses

Without prior written permission from the copyright holder, the buyer may not:

• Share the digital files with another person;

• Share Hotmart access information or download links;

• Reproduce or distribute the materials publicly;

• Sell, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the materials;

• Upload the files to websites, social networks, messaging groups, cloud-sharing folders, marketplaces, or file-sharing platforms;

• Translate, adapt, modify, or create a competing product for distribution or sale;

• Remove copyright, authorship, or ownership notices;

• Use substantial portions of the content in another book, course, journal, website, video, or commercial product;

• Claim authorship or ownership of the materials;

• Use the website or product for illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

Unauthorized copying, sharing, resale, or distribution may result in termination of access and appropriate legal action.

11. Copyright and Intellectual Property

The eBook, bonus journal, website text, visual materials, exercises, reflections, structure, and original written content are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
